When you have to reserve your place
Even though we are the UAB’s residence, the procedure to reserve a place at the Vila Universitària is independent of the enrolment process at the university.
The regular reservation process starts on July 1st until the 25th.
Deposits:
When you reserve your place, you have to pay 170 € as the “first deposit”.
The day you sign your contract you have to pay another deposit equivalent to the price you pay for rent.

Do you need a visa?
If you are an international student and you need an accommodation certificate to apply for your visa, you will have to pay both of these deposits when you make your reservation.
As in the moment of reserving, you will not have any place assign yet, this second deposit will be an amount equal to your first choice at your reservation.
When do you need your flat?
The apartments in the Vila Universitària are equipped with:
- Dining room chairs
- Desks
- Dining room table
- Coffee table
- Bookshelves
- Beds with a headboard and bed base
- Sideboard for the dining room
- Armchairs
- Bedside tables
- Lamps for night stands
- Wardrobes
- Retractable clothesline
- Folding rack to dry clothes
- Refrigerator
- Microwave
- Mattress with cover
- Covers for the sofas/armchairs
What you should bring because it is not included is:
- Bed pillow
- Sheets (the mattress is 1,90 x 90)
- Towels
- Kitchen utensils (pots, pans, baking dishes, plates, silverware, kitchen cloths, etc.)
- Waste bin
- Broom, mop, and its bucket.
- Cleaning products
When you arrive at the Vila Universitària you will have the opportunity to rent a package with all of this equipment for 12.10€ per month.
