End-of-contract checks

Just like any other rental flat, before we return the deposit we check the flats to determine both the condition of the elements inside it (furniture, walls, household appliances, etc.) and the cleanliness of the flat.

This check is done by referring to the Entrance Inventory Appendix.

To avoid unpleasant surprises, we recommend that you attend the preventative reviews that we carry out in June in which we tell you how you should leave the flat.

Deposit returns

If you are an undergraduate student, the deposits are returned to the bank account number with which you paid your monthly rent during your stay in October of the year that you permanently left the Vila Universitària. If you renew your contract for another year, we retain the deposit until you leave.

For international and/or exchange students (Sicue-Seneca, Erasmus, UAB programmes or other programmes which entail staying at the UAB), and/or for post-graduate programmes (Master’s or doctorates), the deposit will be returned when your contract with Vila is over, and after the apartment has been checked.
