Renew your place at Vila for the 2026–2027 academic year!

Do you like life at Vila Universitària and can you already imagine yourself here next year?

Well, good news: from May 4 onwards, you can now renew your place for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The process is 100% digital, very simple, and is done through VilAPP. Below, we explain step by step how to do it (and yes, you also have an informative video on YouTube to make everything completely clear).

 

How does the renewal work?

You just need to follow these 4 steps:

1. Download VilAPP (available for all operating systems).
2. Check which renewal period corresponds to you (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
3. Access VilAPP during your assigned period and fill in the form that will appear automatically.
4. Pay attention to the 3 emails you will receive during the process:

 

📩 Mail 1
The contract you will receive is NOT final, but a draft.
You must forward this email to docuware@vilauniversitaria.com attaching:
• The identity document (ID, NIE, or passport)
• The attached contract

✍️ Mail 2
You will receive an email with subject and sender:
VILA UNIVERSITARIA <sign@vigsigner.net>
At this point, you only need to do one thing: sign the contract.

📄 Mail 3
You will receive the contract already signed by Vila Universitària.
Here, there is nothing else you need to do 🙂

 

When do I have to renew?

Depending on what you want to do next academic year, you have a specific period assigned:

• 1st period
  If you want to continue in the same place in your flat, you will be able to renew from May 4 to May 13, from 8:00 to 18:00.
• 2nd period
  If you want to change flats as a group, renewal will take place from May 15 to May 21, from 8:00 to 18:00.
  👉 In this case, only one person in the group needs to complete the form (in which the details of all members will be entered).
• 3rd period
  If you want to change flats individually, you will be able to renew from May 26 to May 29, from 8:00 to 16:00.

• Type A: €371.00
• Type B: €282.00
• Type T double: €294.00
• Type T individual: €428.00
• Type C double: €267.00
• Type C individual: €369.00
• Type D shared: €276.00
• Type D full: €585.00

 

Important information (to take into account)

• The maximum stay at Vila 1 is 6 years.
  If you finish your Bachelor’s degree and want to study a Postgraduate program or Master’s, you will have to move to Vila 2.
  • The deadline to cancel the contract with the right to a refund of deposits is July 24, 2026.
  • Renewals made outside the month of May will not have the discounted price.
  • If you do not want to continue living at the Vila, no procedure is required.
  The deposit will be returned from October onwards, once the adjustment of unbilled consumption has been applied.
