What is Vila, visits, booking procedure and periods of request and confirmation?
At last! You have already done the selectivity and you have the results, but still, do not relax (or at least not at all)! You still have a job to do, do you know where you will live the next course?
There are many options, no doubt, but we will talk about what you can find if you come to live on the campus of the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
What’s Vila?
With more than 2,000 places for undergraduate students, distributed in different types of housing (from individual to flats of 5 people), Vila Universitaria is one of the largest university residences in the entire Spanish state, which means that it is the residential complex With higher concentration of university students.
You will never be surrounded by so many future professionals as the years you spend with us.
The university stage is one of the epochs of life with greater degree of experimentality, where personal and professional growth is at maximum vital levels…
We have all the necessary services: mini-market, coffee shops, copy shop, driving schools, laundry, sports facilities that consist of soccer field and volleyball, ping pong tables, street basket and outdoor pool, and of course, 4 common rooms With different functionalities: study and work in group, physical and recreational activities.
All this makes the Vila Universitaria an accommodation in constant effervescence and ideal to find a response to the different concerns that arise these years.

Visits
As we are sure, at least, to have aroused your curiosity, we invite you to come and see us.
We make guided visits to the apartments and facilities from July 4 to 25:
From Monday to Friday at 16.00
Fridays at 12.00

What you will not be able to see is the atmosphere, since the contracts of the students of degree are of the 1 of September to the 30 of June, reason why they will not be. Yes we will meet with the international students hosted by the UAB summer schools.
Booking procedure:
To make your reservation you only have to fill this form and make a payment of 170 € as a first deposit (that we will be refund immediately if you do not enter the UAB or stay on the waiting list) and wait for us to contact you.

Period of application:
From the 1st to the 25th of July
And it does not matter if you do it on the 1st or you do it on July 25th, as long as everything arrives before 6pm on this last day, you will have the same possibilities to enter.
In this period we look at:
– Place of origin (we favor the remoteness)
– Access to university (we favor the best grades)
According to these criteria we accept and assign the places.
From August 1st
In this period we assign those places that we have been left free and we do it by order of request.
Confirmation periods:
On the 25th we close the application period and start the confirmation periods.
On July 26 we contact you via e-mail and message to the mobile (sms) that we have received everything correctly.
Finally, on August 1, we will communicate with you again, in the same way, to confirm the assigned place or inform you that you have been on the waiting list.
That is why it is very important that you provide us with a mobile phone number that is operational during the process and an email that you usually check.
Once you have a place with us, you can relax and enjoy this special summer.
Now we just want you to be assigned the desired degree and university and, if it is the UAB, expect to see you through our facilities soon.
