Photography, Story and Design of the T-Shirt of theFesta del Gat’17
We are the largest university residence in Spain and, therefore, the residential complex with a greater number of potential professionals of the first level. This could mean nothing, but year after year it has been shown that one of the main wealth of Vila Universitària is the great amount of talent of our residents. And we love to give the right space to exhibit it.
This time, we open 3 different competitions: photography, story and we invite you to design the T-shirt of the biggest party of the Vila, the Festa del Gat.
All three have as their final intention to show us your vision of Vila Universitària. This year, however, we asked for an extra. Taking advantage of the imminent arrival of the 25th anniversary of La Vila (the course 2017 – 2018), we want you to make reference to this event.
Prize
The prize you will get if you win one of these competitions is an original evening at one of these restaurants with whomever you like*:
Enigmatium, if you are a person who likes to investigate, find out things … this is your restaurant. For starters we can not tell you or where you are, since it is the first enigma you should find out.
Dans le Noir, do you want to know what it is to dine deprived of the sense that you use most, leaving you carried by the smell, the touch, but without seeing anything?
Dinners at the Fabra Observatory, the activity takes place at the Fabra Observatory during the summer months and combines scientific dissemination and astronomical observation with a suggestive gastronomic proposal. The dinners take place outdoors, in one of the privileged viewpoints of the city of Barcelona.
Common Bases:
- All and all participants must be residents of Vila Universitaria.
- It will be possible to participate from 28/03/2017 until 04/05/2017 at 23:59 hours.
- All creations will be sent in a private message on the Facebook page of Vila Universitaria UAB.
- The winners will be those works that receive more LIKES in said page. The works will be published in all the networks of Vila Universitària (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) to make diffusion, but ONLY will count to win the prize LIKES received in the publications of the Facebook Page.
- All participants must provide a pseudonym and the floor where they reside in the message with the work.
- We will publish the names of the winners and / or winners on our social networks on Friday, May 5, 2017.
- The awards ceremony will be held on Cat Feast Day 2017 (Thursday, May 18, 2017).
- Vila Universitària reserves the right to veto the participation of the work, whatever its discipline, if considered offensive.
Bases for each contest:
Story:
- The stories will occupy a maximum of 8 pages on a single sheet.
- It should be a story set in Vila Universitària and make reference to its 25th anniversary.
- There must be a minimum participation of 4 pieces, otherwise, we will give the contest as a desert.
Photography:
- In all the photographs you should see some element that shows that it is a photograph taken at Vila Universitària.
- Somehow (free) reference should be made to the 25th anniversary of Vila Universitària.
- Each participant can submit a maximum of 3 photographs.
- There should be a minimum participation of 6 contestants, otherwise, we will give the contest as a desert.
Gat’17 Party T-Shirt Design:
- It will be for the biggest party in La Vila, La Festa Del Gat’17, so a cat must appear in the design.
- The shirts will be white or black, you can choose the color you prefer for your design, which should occupy only one side of the shirt and with a single color.
- In some way (free) reference should be made to the 25th anniversary of Vila Universitària.
- There should be a minimum participation of 6 contestants, otherwise, we will give the contest as a desert.
*The dinner will have an approximate value of 50€ per person
