Sant Cugat is a beautiful city just 3 train stops away from Bellaterra. It’s the perfect place to spend the afternoon. Once you get there, walk down the rambla and you’ll arrive to the Monastery’s Plaza. Its roman cloister is one of the most important in Catalunya!
- Eat chocolate con churros
After visiting the Monastery you’ll be hungry, so… follow me! We’ll go up the Rambla and find a nice cafeteria to sit down for a bit and recharge batteries. Once you’ll find it… it’s time to order chocolate con churros (churros with hot chocolate) so you warm up while tasting one of our favourite meriendas (it’s what we call the afternoon snack time).
Although… to be honest, one of the best ways to try this exquisite meal is after a long night out. Fiesta and churros is a great combo!
- Picnics at Vallparadís Parc:
In the heart of Terrassa, you’ll find one of the best city’s highlights: Vallparadís Park. A bit of a “secret spot”, unknown for many tourists and loved by the locals… The place to enjoy the summer weather and, also, make the most out of a winter sunny day.
So grab a few sandwiches head to Terrassa! Can’t be bothered to pack lunch? You can also have tapas in there! And if you are into jazz (even if you’re not!), then you have a date on Sunday the 17th of March at Picnic Jazz!
Pack a blanket, food and drinks, and take a good spot to enjoy the coolest jazz music and ambiance.
